21st Century research
February 27th, 2009One of our fifth grade classes is doing research on inventions, specifically on things that have been invented since they were born. One of our more enterprising students took it upon herself to email the inventor she was researching (who lives in Australia) and she received a reply! She’s very excited, obviously, and I can’t help but think about how technology enables connections to the “real world” that weren’t practical before.
